Red Beans & Smoked Turkey

Elements:

1 cup chopped onion

1 lb (ca. 454 g) dried crimson beans

1 tbsp Additional Spicy Seasoning Mix

1 qt smoked turkey wings or drumsticks

3 cup rice

1 qt chilly water

1/2 cup chopped celery

Directions:

Wash and type the beans. Cowl beans with water 2 inches above them in a 4- quart Dutch oven.

Soak for half-hour or in a single day. Drain.

In a Dutch oven, mix the celery, onion, Additional Spicy Seasoning Mix, turkey, and water. Deliver combination to a boil.

Cut back warmth to low, cowl, and simmer for two to three hours, or till turkey and beans are cooked.

Take away the turkey, take away the meat from the bone, and mix it with the beans.

Put together the rice. One tablespoon Additional Spicy Seasoning toss rice If you would like extra spice, mix it in.
