OLD FASHIONED APPLE DUMPLINGS

Preheat oven to 375°F. Butter a 9×13 inch baking pan, put aside.
Divide pie crust into 6 equal items and roll every into a few 7” sq. or circle. You need the pie dough to be massive sufficient to wrap fully round your apples. Place an apple on every pie dough with the middle core dealing with upward.
In a small bowl, whisk collectively brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Divide brown sugar combination between apples, poking some inside every cored opening and the remainder across the base of every apple.
Slice butter into 6 even slices and place 1 piece of butter within the opening of every apple.
Fold the corners of the dough over the apple to create the dumpling across the apple, being certain to pinch the perimeters collectively to seal the dough across the apples. Switch dumplings to ready baking pan.
In a medium sized saucepan over medium-high warmth, add all sauce elements and produce combination to a low boil, stirring continually.
